| 概要 |
Climate change projections are critical for preparing and adapting to extreme weather patterns. This research enhances replicability in Earth System Models (ESMs), vital for initiatives like the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project (CMIP), where simulations occur across diverse computing environments. Current replicability methods show poor statistical power for subtle differences, limiting their effectiveness. We developed improved metrics and statistical tests to enhance sensitivity, achieving better resolution of model differences. As part of the HANAMI project, this study evaluates Japanese and European models on high-performance clusters, conducting extensive ensemble simulations. Results aim to strengthen statistical methodologies and foster international collaborative climate research.
