Purpose

The Joint Usage/Research Center for Interdisciplinary Large-scale Information Infrastructures (JHPCN) awards particularly outstanding joint research projects with the aim of encouraging their future development and promoting the progress of research.

JHPCN Outstanding Research Award

The Outstanding Research Award is presented to projects that are recognized for their particularly outstanding research achievements, excluding the exploratory joint research projects.

JHPCN Exploratory Research Award

The Exploratory Research Award is presented to particularly outstanding exploratory joint research projects that were presented at the JHPCN Symposium, with the aim of encouraging these projects to step up to full-scale joint research projects in the future.
